Prices are being manipulated. Oil companies are profitting billions of dollars. Why can't the government invoke a maximum profit policy?

Why does our government need to act?
By not posting prices you are not even acting to help yourself or others find the cheapest fuel.
Is that what you want the government to do for you, find the cheapest price of fuel in your area?

It is a proven biological fact that the further north (N. Hem) you go the smaller the appendage.

I am sorry you are so little. Perhaps lifts in your shoes will help get you noticed. And thank you for the many gas prices you are obviously out gathering to post on our site.

I'm pretty sure kma2011 meant joining a website, the primary purpose of which is to post gas prices in one's area and use the same website to find the lowest gas prices in their area. Then make two forum posts in more than 3 months of membership while posting no gas prices in that same period. I'm surprised you had to ask that, Maxstar. The evidence should have been obvious.

I have a suggestion that we "little people" can do. While it won't get gas prices down, it will help make us more informed and more knowledgeable shoppers when shopping for gas. How about starting a website in which people can post the gas prices from gas stations in their communities, and for gas stations that they pass while driving. Then, the other people looking at the website will have ideas where to shop for lower priced gas without having to drive significantly out of their way, looking for the best priced gas stations. The posts could include the name and location of the gas station, and the address, and the various stations can be grouped together by area. Perhaps one listing for gas stations in the Alberta Canada area, another for the Maryland area. Since it will be an informal group of people with a common interest, while they may not be friends, we could call them buddies Gas buddies. Maybe even name the webstite Gas Buddy. And all we have to do is post gas prices once in a while. We don't even need to get the government involved.M
Just an idea. Gas price posting. It might just work out.

Hi Kma,
Maybe you could list the ways you have been lowering your energy use. The more people who cut back, the less demand. And lower demand = lower prices.
