Please, become my NEWEST Gas Buddy.

It's something they do just about all the time, and Big Oil, the Refiners and OPEC are the biggest speculators of all, and some of their greedy wealthy friends. When the politicians talk about cutting them off or putting an end to the speculators, it's not them they're talking about, it the little guy like you or me that might buy one or three or possibly as many as 10 contracts. That's nothing compared to the dozens and hundreds they literally buy every year. As it is, it should be down still, especially with the surplus over the last year.

They're widening their profits and spreads down here too! I suspect they'll do it most everywhere before too long.

"What a dummy I am. On Thursday pipeline erupts, Friday prices dropped in my neighborhood ( 6 stations ) by 4 cents. Saturday they went up 30 cents from $2.75 to $3.05 at one nearby station. Most throughout the area except for one station raised prices from 16 cents to 32 cents. One station since a change in ownership has widened the spread of premium gas from 20 cents over regular to 24 cents, then 27 cents and now to 29 cents more than regular. This station was getting a resupply Sat evening, wonder where the prices will go then. One station 2 1/2 miles away left prices unchanged from earlier in the week thru late Sat evening. I enjoyed it when all stations advertised ALL 3 prices, made for better pricing competition." They're getting us everywhere!

By-the-way, you can believe in and support the professional politicians all you like, I can't. I've seen how they are and what they've done for far too long, and Obama has not initiated any good change as he said, nor any of the rest. We need new people in there, people like the working class moms and dads, the small and medium business owners, the school teachers that are admired and doing good for the children they instruct or the older college students they guide or others like them, not some one like most of them who don't know what's truly going on, who don't truly understand the plight of the poor, the middle class, etc.

No, sorry to digress myself, but they are patriots in word alone! They work for the wealthy, the bankers, Big Oil, large corporations, their own benefits while talking a good rap to make the people believe as you do that they're doing good! That goes for Republicans and Deocrats alike! Most of my comments and postings are related to gas and many related in the past to improving fuel economy, something which the automakers should have done years ago and something which Washington should have insisted upon years ago as well, but just as many do, I do join in with posting something off topic. I'll probably continue to do so from time to time as well as I feel so inclined, especially when others initiate it, as I like to include my own beliefs, feelings, observations, etc. Again, you have a great weekend; and I do mean that!

By-the-way, nothing against you, I just don't like most of the politicians out there, including those around here. I used to live on the south side of Chicago, years ago, where do you live there? Hope you had a great Labor Day and hope you have a great day and weekend! Enjoy!
