Good to hear that you and your truck are okay in avoiding hitting an animal. Was it a bear that you swerved to miss. I agree with you that there are many more ways to cool down in a very warm climate than it is to warm up in a cold climate.

I had a conversation with a couple of my neighbors tonight. One of them is a liberal and the other is on my side of the conservative fence. Even the liberal bowed to the truthfulness of Reagan’s quote and that this country needs a Reagan like president in order to right this country and perhaps the global politics. Reagan told it in straight terms. If Reagan was our president – do you think that the mid-east would be bullying about, especially Iran? I don’t think so. Would have Reagan allowed all of the mfgr jobs to be exported out of the USA? Would he have allowed the deregulation of commodity trading? I think not. Would the banking industry been allowed to give housing loans to those that didn’t qualify? Would Reagan have allowed the bailout of the big banks? Would Reagan have allowed zero percent interest to these failing banks so that they could use this free money to speculate in oil and of which is crippling any growth in the US economy now?
