California is a "consumer nation" much of the energy required in California come from out of state. Electric from Washington, Oregon, Nevada & pooints east. Oil from Texas and antwhere but California who has resources on and offshore.
They deserve what they get...

Seal the borders. Watch outr for anyone trying to escape from California. And send Nancy Pelosi back there so she can feel their pain.

California politics get voted in by who has the most money and an even worse the opponents are jokes. My state lately its been a circus. It started with Gray Davis and voting Arnold in just made SoCal look more injudicious. I wasnt stupid enough to vote for winning govenors and dont have alot of money to like any of them

Easy to solve. Send all the illegals home (or to Washington) except those needed to pick the crops. CA. will have plenty of power, Plenty water, cleaner air, schools, hospitals and jails won't be going broke. Under-crowded freeways.

Thats typical of California. Just like the other dummies out there they don't want to drill but they expect the gas to be spuing out of the pumps.

As California buys energy from neighboring states it will drive up the cost of energy in those states, as well.

As California goes, so goes the country - except for states like North Dakota that actually embrace energy production.
